Our graduate programmes are designed to support the graduate nurse in the move from undergraduate learning to professional clinical practice. You’ll be provided with opportunities to further your knowledge in a supportive environment, whilst being encouraged to strive for best practice. The hospitals allows graduates to branch out and experience a diverse range of specialty areas.

The CDHB Offers Two Graduate Programmes
Nursing Entry to Practice Programme (NetP)
This programme will support you in the transition from student to competent Registered Nurse.

Entry to Specialty Practice/New Graduate Mental Health Nursing Programme
This programme is structured to offer professional and educational support as you start out on your nursing career, or make the transition to Mental Health.
The Entry to Specialty Practice programme differs from the NetP programme in that upon completion you will have obtained a post graduate nursing certificate endorsed in mental health nursing.
