CDHB Recruitment Process

The CDHB’s aim is to recruit the best people for the wide range of positions which are necessary to achieve our vision of improving the health and well-being of people living in Canterbury.

Our recruitment process is consistent and unbiased. We look at different aspects of your qualifications, personal attributes and potential. Quite simply, we want to identify what it is that makes you stand out from the crowd

To apply, you need to be a New Zealand or Australian citizen or permanent resident, or have a valid work permit and be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Unsuccessful Applications

In some instances where an applicant is unsuccessful in the position applied for, the application form and CV may be held on file with the permission of the applicant for consideration for future vacancies.
